Forum Title: Suspended Cielings
I am working a commercial Citibank job in Chinatown NYC. It is a very crowded occupied area. All of the suspended cilings are at a diagonal running through glass wall partitions. Much of the existing grid was demolished by the demo crew. I must now patch to match existing. We had to build drywall soffits flush with cieling height to accept the glass track. The grid in the new offices must flow right in line with the lobby area. The problem is establishing the new points in the rooms and squaring up the grid to meet the new soffits and walls, some glass, some drywall. This is an extremely complicated matter so any advise on squaring grid at a diagonal would be appreciated. I have two lasers but there is no room to lay out on the floor. This is why we make the big bucks.
